I'm back, but I don't know where I am. The darkness is suffocating, a heavy blanket that's crushing me. I try to move, but my body feels like lead. My mind is a jumbled mess, thoughts racing in every direction. The last thing I remember is the figure with glowing eyes, its gaze burning into my soul. I try to scream, but my voice is barely a whisper. I'm trapped, alone and scared. Suddenly, I'm flooded with images, memories that aren't mine. I see a city, a towering metropolis with skyscrapers that seem to touch the sky. I see a figure, a woman with long, flowing hair and piercing green eyes. She's running, her feet pounding the pavement. She's being chased, hunted by something or someone. I feel her fear, her panic. It's overwhelming. The images stop, and I'm left gasping for breath. What just happened? Why am I seeing these things? I try to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washes over me. I'm forced to lie back down, my head spinning. As I struggle to catch my breath, I realize I'm not alone. There's someone beside me, a presence that's watching me. I try to turn, to see who it is, but my body won't cooperate. The voice from earlier whispers in my ear again, "Mine." This time, it's louder, more insistent. I feel a hand on my shoulder, a cold, clammy touch. I try to shake it off, but it's too strong. The hand tightens its grip, and I'm pulled into a sitting position. I'm face to face with the figure from my memories, the woman with piercing green eyes. But something's off. Her eyes are black as coal, and they seem to be sucking the life out of me. She leans in, her breath cold and rank. "You're mine now," she whispers, her voice like a snake slithering through the grass. And as she says it, the world around me begins to distort, like a reflection in rippling water. Everything is twisting, turning upside down. I feel myself being pulled into a nightmare, a world where nothing makes sense. The woman's eyes are the last thing I see before everything goes black. But as I fall into the darkness, I hear a voice, a voice that's not the woman's. It's a voice that's familiar, a voice that's been whispering in my ear all along. "You're not even human," it says. "You're something more. Something less." And as the voice fades away, I'm left with a single, terrifying thought: what am I? The darkness closes in, and I'm consumed by an eternal silence. But just as I think it's all over, I hear the sound of footsteps, heavy and deliberate. They're coming for me. And as the footsteps get closer, I realize that I'm not alone in the darkness. There's something else here, something that's been waiting for me all along. The footsteps stop right outside my door. I hear the sound of a key turning, the creak of a door opening. And then, a voice, a voice that makes my blood run cold. "Hello, brother," it says. "I've been waiting for you."
