The Deleted Chat-chapter 1 1
My mind is a whirlwind of fear and anxiety as I stare at the black screen, the words "Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight. Come alone" still seared into my brain. Who is behind this? Is it Alex, or someone else entirely? The thought of facing my toxic ex again makes my stomach churn with dread. I try to shake off the feeling of being watched, but it's no use. I'm trapped in a nightmare, and I don't know how to wake up. My phone's dead, but my heart is racing like crazy. I'm pacing back and forth in my apartment, trying to make sense of the cryptic messages. The photo of myself outside my new apartment still haunts me - how did they get that? I feel like I'm losing control, like my life is spiraling out of control. And then, I hear a faint knock on the door. My heart skips a beat. Who could it be? I'm not expecting anyone. The knocking grows louder, more insistent. I approach the door cautiously, my senses on high alert. I peer through the peephole, and my blood runs cold. It's a girl, about my age, with piercing green eyes and long, curly brown hair. She's a stranger, but there's something familiar about her. She mouths a single word: "Run." Suddenly, she glances over her shoulder, and her eyes widen in terror. She turns back to me, and I see a piece of paper clutched in her hand. She pushes it under the door, and I bend down to pick it up. The paper has a single sentence scrawled on it: "They're watching you. Don't go to the warehouse." And just as I'm about to ask her what's going on, she turns and sprints down the hallway, disappearing into the stairwell. I'm left standing there, frozen in confusion and fear, as I hear the sound of footsteps echoing outside my apartment. They're getting closer. And closer. And then, everything goes black.
