The Deleted Chat-chapter 1 1
My mind reels as I struggle to piece together the fragmented memories of my past. The girl's words echo in my head, "You're not who you think you are..." What does she mean? Who am I, really? The darkness closes in around me, and I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of uncertainty. I try to remember my name, my job, my life before this hellhole, but it's all a blur. The only thing I'm sure of is that I need to escape. I need to get out of this place and uncover the truth about my past. The girl's warning, the mysterious message on my phone, it's all connected, but how? I think back to my ex, Rachel, and the toxic relationship we had. She was controlling, manipulative, and cruel. Could she be behind this? The thought sends a chill down my spine. I hear the sound of footsteps again, heavier this time, and the door creaks open. The girl stands in the doorway, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Time to get moving," she says, her voice dripping with malice. "We have a date with destiny, and it's waiting for us at the warehouse." She tosses me a pair of worn jeans and a black hoodie. "Put these on. We don't want you to draw attention to yourself." I hesitate, unsure of what to do, but something about her tone tells me I don't have a choice. I put on the clothes, feeling a sense of unease as I realize I'm completely at her mercy. As we walk out of the room, I see that we're in some kind of abandoned factory. The walls are covered in graffiti, and the air is thick with the smell of smoke and grease. We make our way through the dimly lit corridors, the only sound being the echo of our footsteps. Suddenly, the girl stops in front of a door. "This is it," she says, her eyes glinting with excitement. "This is where your journey begins." She pushes the door open, and I'm met with a blast of cold air. We're outside, and I see the city skyline stretching out before us. But it's not the view that catches my attention - it's the figure standing in the shadows, watching us. The girl follows my gaze and smiles. "Don't worry, he's a friend," she says, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Or at least, he's supposed to be." The figure steps forward, and I see that it's a man with a scar above his left eyebrow. He's dressed in a black leather jacket, and his eyes seem to bore into my soul. "Welcome," he says, his voice low and menacing. "I've been waiting for you." And with that, he pulls out a phone and shows me a picture that makes my heart stop. It's a photo of me, standing in front of a building I've never seen before. But it's not the building that catches my attention - it's the date stamp on the photo. It's a date that's tomorrow. And the caption below the photo reads: "You're going to die."
