The Deleted Chat-chapter 1

My hands still tremble as I recall the night he left. The memories of his cruel words, the shattered remains of our broken dreams, and the eerie feeling that he's still watching me - it's all still so raw. It's been a year since Alex walked out, leaving me a shell of my former self. The toxic relationship had taken its toll, but I'd finally found the strength to pick up the pieces and start anew. Or so I thought. Last week, I received a mysterious message on my social media - a simple, chilling sentence that made my blood run cold: "You'll never be free from me." The words sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn't shake the feeling that Alex was behind it. But how? I'd changed my numbers, moved to a new city, and cut all ties with our mutual friends. I'd even gone as far as to delete all our photos together, trying to erase the memories of our tumultuous relationship. Yet, the message lingered, a constant reminder that I might not be as safe as I thought. And then, just as I was starting to convince myself it was just a sick prank, I received another message - this one with a photo of myself, taken just yesterday, outside my new apartment. My heart racing, I felt like I was being pulled into a dark, twisted game. Suddenly, my phone buzzed again, and I hesitated, my fingers hovering over the screen. Should I open it? Something told me not to, but my curiosity got the better of me. I took a deep breath, and with a sense of trepidation, I clicked on the message. The words on the screen made my world spin: "Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight. Come alone." And just as I was about to respond, my phone went black. The screen was dead, but my heart was racing with a terrifying question: who was on the other end, waiting for me?
